My friend, Craig, works at the local University in the Astronomy department. Right next-door to his building is this fabulous historic building called Steward Observatory. It's on the National Register of Historic Places and is still an active building, hosting classroom space, lecture rooms, and stellar observation equipment. The exterior is this fabby white glazed ceramic brick/tile combo. It's one of my favorite buildings in Tucson. Anyhoo, as with most astronomy buildings, this one has an observation dome on top.
